Biederitz-Möser

The administrative community Biederitz - Moser was formed on 1 January 2005 on the basis of the Municipal Code of the State of Saxony -Anhalt from the eleven municipalities of the municipalities of the disbanded governing communities Biederitz and Moser. Simultaneously, the formerly independent communities Menz, Nedlitz and Wahlitz (VG Biederitz ) were incorporated into the city Gommern.

On 1 January 2010, the administrative community was dissolved. The communities Biederitz, Gerwisch, Gübs, Königsborn and Wolter village form the new unit community Biederitz, Hohenwarthe, Körbelitz, Lostau, Moser, Pietzpuhl and Schermen merged to form a unified community Moser.

The administrative community lay in the southwestern part of the district Jerichower country. The predominantly flat landscape is dominated by the Labe and the landscape conservation area Umflutehle - Külzauer forest.

In the administration of Community Biederitz - Moser lived 16,717 inhabitants (December 31, 2008) on an area of ​​119.56 km ². Last managing director, Günter Schulze.
