Bischhausen is a town in the same district of Göttingen in southern Lower Saxony with 366 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2010).
Geographical location
Bischhausen is located approximately 13 kilometers southeast of Göttingen directly at the former inner German border and today's Low Saxon - Thuringian border. The local situation is on the sandstone plateau of Eichsfelder hill country. In the local situation arises from the Bisch houses brook, a tributary of the garde.
Neighboring towns are also part of the same community Bremke districts in the west, Kerstlingerode in the northeast, Weissenborn in the east and the Eichsfelder place Bisch Hagen in the south. To the north lies the estate Sennickerode and south of a small wind park.
History
In the course of municipal reform Bischhausen was on 1 January 1973 a district of the newly formed community peers.
