History
For a concert at the House of Blues Joe Bonamassa Glenn Hughes invited and together they played some old pieces of Trapeze and Deep Purple. The group's name refers to the industrially influenced urban area north and west of Birmingham ( "Black Country" ), where both Hughes and Bonham have their roots. The word " Communion " (Latin communio ) stands for "community."
The band released their debut album on August 16, 2010. At this time the members had already started to write more songs that they wanted to use it for their second album. The footage in this publication is taken at various gigs, mostly at festivals. An eponymous double - CD was released on 24 February 2012.
In the summer of 2012, the group recorded their third studio album, which was produced like all other albums of the band by Kevin Shirley. Bonamassa declared in March 2013 in an interview with Premierguitar.com that his involvement in the Black Country Communion was over. He was happy not to be involved and satisfied with what he had with the three albums that were created under his involvement leave. Glenn Hughes then announced the dissolution of the band, as Bonamassa prohibits them from using the name. Together with Jason Bonham and the previously unknown guitarist Andrew Watt, he founded the successor California Breed. This volume does not belong to keyboardist Derek Sherinian.
