Bnei Sakhnin F.C.

Bnei Sakhnin FC (Hebrew איחוד בני סכנין, Arabic اتحاد أبناء سخنين, DMG Ittihad ABNA ʾ Saḫnīn, United Sons of Sakhnin ') is an Israeli football club based in Sakhnin. He plays since 2007 in the top division of Israel, Ligat ha'Al. The club colors are red and white.

History

The club was founded in 1996 as a merger of the two clubs from the city of Sakhnin FC Hapoel and Maccabi. The club took the name Ichud (Arabic Ittihad, German unites ) to. Although the club has deleted the two names Hapoel and Maccabi from the club's name, the club is run in the UEFA Hapoel Bnei Sakhnin as.

2003 managed the club to the second place in the second Israeli League for the first time promotion to the top division in the country.
