Bob Beauprez

Robert L. "Bob" Beauprez ( born September 22, 1948 in Lafayette, Colorado) is an American politician who served as representatives of the State of Colorado belonged to the U.S. House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. There he was Committee Member Ways and Means Committee.

Beauprez was the Republican candidate for governor elections in 2006 in Colorado. He went along with Janet Rowland ( as his running mate, and thus a candidate for the office of Lieutenant-Governor ) to Democrat Bill Ritter, but against whom he defeated on 7 November 2006. His successor in Congress came to Ed Perlmutter.

Career

After studying at the University of Colorado, he worked in his parents' dairy farm. In 1990, he took over with his wife a small local bank. Between 1999 and 2002 he was chairman of the Republican Party of Colorado.

Family

With his wife Claudia Beauprez is married since 1970, they have four children and a grandson.
