Bremen is a settlement on community- free area in Cullman County in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is located about 60 km north of Birmingham ( Alabama). The city was founded in 1860 as the Empire, it was renamed in 1879. Near the town are the State Routes 69 and 91

According to the census in 2010 live in the city of 8,283 people in 3,297 households, and 2,450 families. There are 4,186 housing units.
