Brice Hortefeux

Brice Hortefeux ( born May 11, 1958 in Neuilly -sur -Seine ) is a French politician ( UMP) and Member of the European Parliament. Previously, he served as of June 23, 2009 to February 27, 2011 Minister of the Interior in the government under the leadership of Prime Minister François Fillon.

Background and education

Hortefeux was born the son of a banker and a history teacher in the Paris suburb of Neuilly -sur -Seine. In 1982 he completed his studies in private law from 1984 in Public Law.
