British Guiana at the 1960 Summer Olympics
British Guiana participated in the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome, Italy, part of a delegation of five athletes ( four men and one woman) in six competitions in two sports. There was no medals are won. The youngest athlete was the high jumper Brenda Archer (17 years and 356 days), the oldest athlete was the boxer Carl Crawford (24 years and 356 days). It was the fourth participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country.
