Iraq at the 1960 Summer Olympics
Iraq participated in the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome, Italy, with a delegation of 21 athletes (all men) in 23 competitions in five sports part. It was won a medal (bronze). The youngest athlete was the boxer Khalid Al- Karkhi (20 years and eleven days), the oldest athlete was the weightlifting Hadi Abdul-Jabbar (30 years and 228 days). It was after the Summer Olympics of 1948, the second participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country.
