Iraq at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Iraq took at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the ninth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of three athletes who were all male. They stepped part in three sports in three competitions. The youngest participant was the weightlifting Raed Ahmed with 29 years and 54 days, the oldest was the shooter Hassan with 33 years and 134 days. During the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996, Ahmed carried the flag of Iraq in the Olympic Stadium.
