Botswana at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Botswana participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics for the fifth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of seven athletes who were all men. They started in four competitions in two sports. The youngest participant was the Athlete Rampa Mosveu with 21 years and 58 days, the oldest was Benjamin Keleketu, who also competed in athletics, with 31 years and 180 days. The flag of Botswana was worn during the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 by Justice Dipeba in the Olympic Stadium.
