Turkmenistan at the 1996 Summer Olympics
Turkmenistan took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States with a delegation of seven athletes ( four men and three women ) participated. It was the first participation at the Olympic Games for Turkmenistan as an independent state, after Spain took part in Barcelona as part of the United team in 1992.
