Ghana at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Ghana participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the ninth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of 35 athletes, of which 33 men and two were women. They appeared in 15 competitions in four sports. The youngest participant was the footballer Christian Saba with 17 years and 205 days, the athlete Francis Dodoo was aged 36 years and 105 days, the oldest. During the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 Moro Tijani carried the flag of Ghana in the Olympic Stadium.
