Benin at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Benin adopted at the 1996 Summer Olympics for the sixth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of five athletes, four men and a woman. They started in four competitions in a sport. The youngest participant was the Athlete Eric Agueh with 24 years and 105 days, the oldest was Issa Alassane - OUSSENI, who also competed in athletics, with 35 years and 85 days. The flag of Benin, was born during the opening ceremony on July 19, 1996 by Laure Kuetey, which in turn was the flag bearer four years later in the Olympic Stadium.
