Burkina Faso at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Burkina Faso participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics for the fourth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of five athletes, including three men and two were women. They appeared in five contests in two sports. The youngest participant was the boxer Idrissa Kabore at 18 years and 346 days, the oldest was the Athlete Franck Zio with 24 years and 350 days. The flag of Burkina Faso was worn during the opening ceremony on July 19, 1996 by Franck Zio in the Olympic Stadium.
