Djibouti at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Djibouti participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the fourth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of five participants who competed in four competitions in two sports. The youngest participant was the Athlete Ali Ibrahim with 25 years and 165 days, the oldest was Ahmed Salah with 39 years and 217 days, who also competed in track and field. At the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 was Salah, the only medal winner of Djibouti was by then, the flag of the country in the Olympic Stadium.
