Mauritius at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Mauritius participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics for the fourth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of 26 athletes, of which 21 men and five were women. They appeared in 23 competitions in six sports. The youngest participant was the Athlete Arnaud Casquette at 18 years and 109 days, the oldest was Ajay Chuttoo with 30 years and 265 days, who also competed in track and field. During the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 Khemraj NAIKO carried the flag of Mauritius in the Olympic Stadium.
