Angola at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Angola participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics for the fourth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of 28 athletes, of which 13 men and 15 were women. They took part in five sports in eight contests. The youngest participant was the handball Justina Praça 17 years and 62 days, the oldest was Palmira de Almeida, who also belonged to the handball team, with 34 years and 244 days. Palmira de Almeida was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996.
