Central African Republic at the 1996 Summer Olympics

The Central African Republic participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the fifth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of five people, including three men and two were women. They started in five competitions in athletics. The youngest participant was Ernest Ndjissipou with 23 years and 315 days, the oldest was Denise Ouabangui with 28 years and 49 days. At the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 Mickaël Conjungo carried the flag of the Central African Republic in the Olympic Stadium.
