Brouderdorff
Brouderdorff ( German brother village, 1940-44 Brudersdorf ) is a commune with 930 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Sarrebourg.
Geography
The community Brouderdorff is about six kilometers southeast of Sarrebourg on the edge of the Vosges Mountains at an altitude 266-355 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.78 km ².
History
The town was founded in 1616. The village was German until 1661, then came to France, in 1871 and again in 1919 German French again. In the period 1939-1945 it was under the German administration again and then again the French.
