Buchy (Moselle)

Buchy is a commune with 117 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Metz- Campagne and Canton Verny.

Geography

Buchy located 18 kilometers southeast of Metz at the intersection of highways Metz - Château- Salins and Pont -à -Mousson - Saint- Avold. Immediately west of the village there is the Metz- Nancy- Lorraine.

History

The small village was from 1915 to 1918 and from 1940 to 1944 the German name book rings.

The church of Saint -Pierre is from the year 1770.
