Camilo Villegas

Camilo Villegas ( born January 7, 1982 in Medellín, Colombia ) is a professional golfer of the North American PGA Tour.

Career

Villegas learned the game of golf in childhood and then played as a junior at the University of Florida. He won three amateur tournaments in the USA and Southeastern Conference Player of the Year was in the years 2002 and 2004.

About the Nationwide tour, Villegas qualified for the 2006 season on the PGA Tour and surprised the experts with two second place finishes in his first seven tournaments. At the Doral Championship in Miami Villegas gave the final day from a spectacular head - to-head with Tiger Woods in the world ranking list, ultimately with a blow could decide ahead of its own.
