Canoeing at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's K-1 200 metres

The Canoe Competition in One - kayak 200 meters of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 10 and 11 August 2012 at the Dorney Lake. 20 athletes participated.

The competition over 200 meters is new to the Olympic program and replaces the kayak race over 500 meters. On August 10, three heats were started. Play the first five canoeists qualified for the semifinals. Then there was the time fastest sixth place finisher. The other kayakers dropped out.

In the semifinals, the first four athletes qualified for the final A, the other for the final B with which the courts have determined 9 to 16.

The directly qualified canoeists are light green, highlighted the sixth fastest time placed light blue.
