Canton of Thenon
The Canton Thenon is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Périgueux in the Dordogne and the Aquitaine region; its chief town is Thenon, Representative to the General Council of the department is continuous since 1982, re-elected in 2008, Dominique Bousquet.
Geography
The canton is 193.84 km ² and had (1999) 4,021 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 21 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 209 meters above sea level, between 112 m in La Boissiere - d'Ans and 317 m in Azerat.
