Carl-Erik Holmberg

Carl -Erik Holmberg ( born July 17, 1906) was a Swedish football player. The striker, who has been three times in the Allsvenskan top scorer, played 1926-1932 in 14 appearances for the Swedish national team.

Career

Holmberg debuted in the opening match time in 1924/25 for Örgryte IS in the Allsvenskan and was one of eleven goals this season alongside Sven Rydell and Erik Börjesson at the best club internal scorers. In the following season he was top scorer with 29 goals this season in the league and thus instrumental in the Gothenburg club took first place in the league.
