Carrarese Calcio
Carrarese Calcio is a football club based in the Tuscan town of Carrara in Italy.
History
The club was founded in 1908 as Unione Sportiva Calcio Carrarese (U.S. Carrarese ) and played until the early forties, usually in the lower leagues. The club colors are blue and the yellow. Before the Second World War could reach the Series C and rose in 1946 for the first time on the ( two -part ) series B. After the descent from that in 1948 the club spent the next few seasons with some ups and downs in the third - to fünftklassigen leagues. After the first table place in the 1977/ 78 in the Serie D Girone E fünftklassigen the club returned to Serie C1 and thus into the professional football world, where he can assert itself since then. In the 2009/10 season the club was relegated from sporty from the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, but was divided on the basis of licenses issued no other league participants and by the financial support of Cristiano Lucarelli and Gianluigi Buffon again in the fourth division. 2011 managed to rise again in the third- highest division, which now Pro Prima Divisione operates under the name Lega.
Stadium
The club plays in the Stadio dei Marmi in Piazza Vittorio Veneto 8 Of the 9500 seats are the 600 of the grandstand roof. The plant belongs to the city of Carrara and was inaugurated in 1955.
