ÄŒervenica

Červenica (Hungarian Vörösvágás ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia. It lies in the valley Košická kotlina at the foot of the mountain Slanské Hills, about 25 km from Prešov and 30 km from Košice.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1247. She is known for the former Opalschächte in the community part Dubník. Near Dubník is also a major television station in Slovakia.
