Chervonozavodske

Tscherwonosawodke (Ukrainian Червонозаводське; Russian Червонозаводское / Tscherwonosawodskoje ) is a city in central Ukraine Poltava Oblast. Translated, the name means " Red industrial plant '; 1928 to 1962 it was known as Stalinka (Ukrainian Сталінка, Russian Сталинка ). Tscherwonosawodke is located on the left bank of the river Sula and divided adjacent to the city yet in the village Wyschnewe ( Вишневе ).

History

Tscherwonosawodke was about 8 km southwest of the Rajonzentrums Lochwyza founded in 1928 on the railway line Homel Romodan - Krementschuk when they started there with the construction of a sugar combine. 1970 already lived 7,100 inhabitants in Tscherwonosawodke, which received city rights in 1977. So the place is currently the youngest city in the Poltava Oblast. By 1989, the population rose to 10,076, but has since fallen by more than 10 % during the transition crisis.

Economy and Transport

Tscherwonosawodke is on the road T -1705 ( Tscherwonosawodke - Hadjatsch - Ochtyrka ) and on the railway line Krementschuk - Romodan - Romny - Bakhmach - Homel.
