China Moses
China Moses ( born January 9, 1978 in Los Angeles ) is an American R & B and jazz singer and TV presenter. She lives in Paris.
Life
China Moses is the daughter of jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and the film and television director Gilbert Moses. In 1996, she took on the French label source a first single out, "Time", an R & B song in French, for which the known esp. as a fashion photographer Jean -Baptiste Mondino filming a video clip. This was followed by her debut album China. In addition to the recordings of two other own albums in 2000 and 2004, she also worked with Meshell Ndegeocello, Guru, Etienne de Crécy, DJ Mehdi, Diam's. In an appearance as a background singer Camille, she met jazz pianist Raphael Lemonnier, with whom she developed a tribute to Dinah Washington, which was published in 2009 as an album under the title This One 's for Dinah on Blue Note.
