Chotěšice

Chotěšice ( German Chotieschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers south of Kopidlno and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Chotěšice is located in the southern foothills of Jičínská pahorkatina the creek Smíchovský creek. West of the village, the state road 32 runs in Kolin to Jičín. To the west is a wooded area, from which the Dubina (224 m) rises extends. Southwest is the Stauweiher Vražda.

Neighboring towns are Budčeves and Běchárky in the north, Židovice and Chroustov in the northeast, Nová Ves in the east, Kněžice the southeast, Malá Strana in the south, Slavíkov and Nouzov the southwest, Maly Nouzov and Nové Zámky in the west and Břístev and Necas in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Chotěšice was in 1199 when Otakar I Přemysl the brothers of God's grave, the village gained from a gift of Hugo von Čelčice confirmed. 1375 the brothers leased the village of Albrecht of Wallenstein. From 1408 Zdeněk was of Chotěšice owner of the village. He sold the property two years later to Aldik of Radostov. Chotěšice belonged from the 16th century to the Bohemian manors and above the items consisted of festivals.

1527 sold Ladislav Ostrovecký Kralovice that he had fallen heir village on Wenceslas Haugwitz of Biskupitz on Kopidlno and Záhornice. His son Heinrich Haug joke of Biskupitz sold on Nepokojnice Chotěšice to Siegmund angel Ronov. Meanwhile, youngest daughter Catherine was married to Johann the Younger of Wallenstein and brought the legacy of a dowry. Henik of Wallenstein sold it in 1617 to Nikol von Gersdorff and Malschwitz. This bequeathed the property two years later, his wife, five sons. After the Battle of White Mountain, the possessions of the Protestant Gerdorffer were confiscated and Chotěšice initially added to the royal chamber goods. On the recommendation of Charles of Liechtenstein Chotěšice was bonded together with Smiřice 1621 Johann Eusebius Khan of Belazy. In the following year the chamber sold it to Mary Magdalene Trčková, born Lobkowicz. This replaced the village along with Kopidlno in the same year with the owner of the domain Dymokury, Albrecht of Wallenstein against Žiželice, Sadová and Rozběřice one. Until the abolition of patrimonial Chotěšice remained with Dymokury.

1854 was a village school. 1882 the volunteer fire brigade was founded. After the replacement of patrimonial Chotěšice became an independent municipality in the district Poděbrady and came in 1961 to fulltext your real estates. Also with the beginning of 1961 Břístev, Mala Strana and Nová Ves were incorporated. 1980, the incorporation of Nouzov with Maly Nouzov.
