Christian De Sica
Christian De Sica ( born January 5, 1951 in Rome ) is an Italian actor and film director.
Life
De Sica, son of Vittorio De Sica and Maria Mercader, began with nineteen years' stage experience as an actor. Two years later he played a first television role and for the first time for the cinema in 1973.
There he celebrated numerous major hit with audiences in the 1980s, often under the direction of Carlo Vanzina or Carlo Verdone, with whose sister he is married; from 1991, also occasionally on their own. In his films he made mostly represents the sympathetic, but also stereotypical young man closed the audience into the heart. The films usually strictly produced on commerciality back filled the halls at Christmas time - several times they wore these ( " Natale" ) in the title.
Critics accused him of systematically knock out non- trivial subjects of his films and occasionally slipping into vulgarity.
De Sica was awarded several times. In 1976 he won a special David for his interpretation in Giovannino, another prize in this category, he received in 2000, together with Massimo Boldi, and a third in 2009 lasting twenty-five years of success of Natale movies that were directed by Neri Parenti. In addition, he was honored with the " Telegatto " Best Actor in 2007.
Another was David De Sica in 2010 for his performance in Il figlio più piccolo Pupi AVATIS.
