Christopher II of Denmark

Christopher II (* September 29, 1276; † August 2, 1332 in Soro ) was from 1320 to 1326 and from 1329 to 1332 King of Denmark.

Life

Christopher, the second son of King Erik V. and Queen Agnes of Brandenburg was, after the death of his brother Erik VI. Menved 1319 as a possible heir to the throne. Against the signing of a hand festivals that limited his rights against the nobility to the collection of taxes, the Imperial Parliament elected him in 1320 to the king.
