Cinnamon (Swedish band)

Cinnamon was a Swedish indie pop band from Stockholm.

Band History

Cinnamon was founded in 1994 by songwriter Jiri Novak and Frida this. The duo were soon joined by Samuel Laxberg and Christian Ekwall on, later was added by Linden. In 1995, she signed with Soap Records and made ​​their debut with the EP Vox. In the same year the debut album Summer followed meditation. The following album, The Courier in 1997 was accompanied by a tour of Europe and the USA. The Many Moods EP was released in June 1999, followed in October by the album Vertigo, which has also been launched by Apricot Records. The album was mixed by renowned producer Bertrand Burgalat and was a great success. In 2000, the band went on tour again and brought in Labrador Records an EP with two extractions from Vertigo and three new songs out. Since then, there have been no further publications of the group.
