Cisano sul Neva

Cisano sul Neva ( in the Ligurian: Cixan ) is a municipality with 2016 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Savona.

Geography

The historic, square-shaped center is located in the Val Neva, near the mouth of the Rio Pennavaire ' in the Neva. Near the Pennavaire ' also located the associated, dominated by a medieval castle settlement Conscente. The other related to Cisano sul Neva settlement Cenesi located in a small side valley.

Cisano sul Neva belongs to the Comunità Montana Ingauna and is approximately 52 km from the provincial capital Savona.
