Clifford Campbell
Sir Clifford Clarence Campbell ON, GCMG, GCVO, ( born June 28, 1892 in Petersfield, Westmoreland, Jamaica, † 1991) was between 1 December 1962, the March 2, 1973 Governor General of Jamaica.
The son of James Campbell and Blance Ruddock Campbell was a teacher and director in Westmoreland. As a member of the Jamaica Labour Party, he was finally Leader of the House and later the Senate President.
Campbell was the first native Jamaican, who held the office of Governor-General.
