Coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo

The coat of arms of the Republic of Congo is a golden plate with a central green wave beams. A red green and reinforced grünbezungter lion holding a red flickering torch.

As a sign holder stand against swept two black elephant on a red wooden beams from the plate half covered.

Over the shield rests a gold crown with green cap. The crown tines are stylized golden pieces of wood.

Above the bar hanging down a golden banner, on which the motto of the Republic of Congo is: Unité, Travail, Progres (French for unity, work, progress ).
