Colera, Girona
Colera is a coastal town on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It is located on the eastern foothills of the Pyrenees in the north- east of the Iberian Peninsula. Until 1936 the district was Colera the neighboring community Portbou.
Tourism and infrastructure
Colera is less influenced by mass tourism than the more southern areas of the Costa Brava. There are two small beaches, a marina and a campground. The town has a railway station on the route Portbou - Girona.
