Garriguella

Garriguella is a Catalan municipality in the province of Girona, northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Alt Empordà.

Location

The municipality is located below the mountain train Baga d'en Ferran at an altitude of 56 meters.

Economy

In the community Garriguella cork oaks and pines are cultivated commercially. The main economic source of income is the wine. The grapes are processed in local cooperatives and the wine is marketed under the guarantee of origin Empordà Costa Brava.
