The Comanche Peak nuclear power plant (English Comanche Peak Nuclear Generating Station ) is a nuclear power plant with two pressurized water reactors. The nuclear power plant is located in Somervell County in the U.S. state of Texas.

History

Construction of both blocks was on 19 December 1974. Farms is the powerhouse of the Energy Future Holdings Corporation. The first block was on 24 April 1990 to the network. The second block was followed three years later on 9 April 1993.

The reactors of Westinghouse, which had been built in this nuclear power plant, are identical. Both have a net output of 1150 MW and a gross capacity of 1189 megawatts. Block 2 was the penultimate U.S. reactor went on line, the last was Watts Bar 1

In June 2008, an increase in power was granted.
