Concordia University

The Concordia University is an English-language university in Montreal and one of the younger universities in Canada. With about 40,000 students, it is measured by the number of students, the sixth- largest university in Canada.

According to a classification ( " ranking ") of the École des Mines de Paris, Concordia University are 500 companies in the Fortune placed among Canadian universities on the world's first and 33 on the court, based on the number of graduates, the CEOs.

The university is home to the Film Academy Mel Hoppe Home School of Cinema, on the enroll about 200 students annually and is the largest film academy of its kind in Canada.

History

The university was founded in 1974 when two universities merged: The Loyola Jesuit College, founded in 1896 and the Sir George Williams University, which was awarded university status in 1948. The Sir George Williams University was nationally known as 200 students from 29 January to 11 February 1969, the Computer Laboratory of the University (English Sir George Williams Computer Riot ) occupied. A special feature of MBAs is that this world's only degree program includes all three exams to become a Chartered Financial Analyst ( CFA).
