The Costa Diadema is a building under construction cruise ship of Costa Crociere, which is expected to enter service in 2014.

Construction

The Costa Diadema cost around 550 million euros and is the new flagship of Costa Crociere be. It will be the largest sailing under the Italian flag cruise ship. The vessel will be measured 306 meters long and 37.2 meters wide, with around 132,500 GT. It is primarily based on the three ships of the Dream class of Carnival Cruise Lines, which were built in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Equipment

The ship will have approximately 1860 cabins. Overall, it will have room for 4947 passengers and 1253 crew members. 130 cabins will have direct access to spa, including 11 suites, 756 cabins will have a private balcony, of which 64 are suites.
