Craig Lindsay Lefferts ( born September 29, 1957 in Munich) is a German former American Major League Baseball relief pitcher. Currently, Lefferts pitching coach of the Vancouver Canadians, a minor league team, the Oakland Athletics.
During his playing days Lefferts at the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers and the California Angels played.
Lefferts played during his teenage years at the University of Arizona, with which he could win the 1980 College World Series title. In MLB Draft 1980, he was chosen in the ninth round by the Chicago Cubs, for whom he made his debut on April 7, 1983.
The 1986 season ended Lefferts as the player who has pitched the most games in the National League. Overall, he was this season 83 times used.
