Cuanza Sul Province
Cuanza Sul is a province of the African nation of Angola. It has about 600,000 inhabitants ² on an area of 55,660 km. Cuanza Sul is located southeast of Luanda, extending from the Atlantic coast in the west to the river Cuanza the north and east.
The population is generally attributed to the ethnic group of the Ovimbundu.
Management
The provincial capital is called Sumbe the colonial period Novo Redondo.
The Cuanza Sul province is composed of twelve counties ( municipios ) together:

- Conda
- Ebo
- Libolo
- Porto Amboim
- Quibala
- Quilenda
- Seles
