Cutusuma

Cutusuma is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

Cutusuma is the central place of the Canton Villa Asunta (also: Canton Cutusuma ) in the district ( bolivian: municipality ) in the province of Sud Yungas Chulumani. The village lies at an altitude of 1701 m fifteen kilometers north-west of the Río Boopi, a source of the river Río Beni.

Geography

Cutusuma is located in the Bolivian Yungas on the eastern slopes of the high mountain ridge of the Cordillera Real. The region exhibits a pronounced daytime air, wherein the average temperature variation during the day than in the more marked flow of the seasons.

The average annual temperature of the region is 21 ° C (see climate chart Chulumani ), the average monthly values ​​vary only slightly between 18 ° C in July and 22 ° C in December. Cutusuma lies at a distance of 151 kilometers of road east of La Paz, the capital of the department of the same name.

From La Paz the paved highway Route 3 leads in a northeasterly direction 60 miles to Unduavi, then branches off the unpaved Ruta 25 in a southeasterly direction and reaches after 69 kilometers Chulumani.
