Daniel Winnik

Daniel Spencer Winnik (born 6 May 1985 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2012 at the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Daniel Winnik began his career as a hockey player with the Wexford Raiders, for which he was active from 2001 to 2003 in the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League. He then played three years for the team from the University of New Hampshire. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the ninth round in 2004 when a total of 265 players from the Phoenix Coyotes. Towards the end of the season 2005/ 06 Winnik was the first time for Phoenix ' farm team in the American Hockey League, the San Antonio Rampage, on the ice. After Winnik is active exclusively for San Antonio and in the following season, scored the Center in his rookie year in the 2007/ 08 NHL season in 79 games overall scorer 26 points, including eleven goals. In the following season, but his points yield fell dramatically as a result he was briefly sent back to the AHL farm team. With the Coyotes, he reached in the 2009/ 10 financial year the play-offs, but would retire in the first round against the Detroit Red Wings from.

On 28 June 2010, the attacker was transferred during the off-season in exchange for a fourth- round option for the NHL Entry Draft in 2012 for the Colorado Avalanche. This gave him on 27 February 2012 from TJ Galiardi and together with a seventh- round vote in exchange for Jamie McGinn, Mike Connolly and Michael Sgarbossa to the San Jose Sharks. On July 20, 2012, he was taken as a free agent by the Anaheim Ducks for two years under contract. For this he immediately scored two goals in his first NHL application on January 19, 2013 away game against the Vancouver Canucks.
