Dannel Malloy

Dannel P. " Dan " Malloy ( born July 21, 1955 in Stamford, Connecticut ) is an American politician and since January 2011, Governor of the State of Connecticut.

Life

After leaving school, Malloy studied at Boston College and Boston College Law School Law. After studying the end, he worked as a lawyer. Malloy is a member of the Democratic Party.

From 1995 to 2009, Mayor Malloy of Stamford. On 2 November 2010 he won the gubernatorial election with just over 6,000 votes ahead of the Republican Thomas C. Foley, and he could replace 2011 incumbent M. Jodi Rell on January 5.

In 1982 he married Cathy Malloy and the couple have three children.
