Dario Krešić [ krɛ.ʃɪtɕ ] ( born January 11, 1984 in Vukovar ) is a Croatian football player. Since 2014 he is the German first division 1 FSV Mainz 05 under contract.

Career

Association

2009 saw Krešić after three years at Panionios Athens to league rivals PAOK Salonika. In 2012 he went to the Russian first division club Lokomotiv Moscow, in which his compatriot Slaven Bilic was coach.

During the winter break of the season 2013/14 he moved to the Bundesliga FSV Mainz 05 He received a six-month contract until end of the season with an option for a follow-up contract until 2016.

National

Krešić went through numerous U- national teams of Croatia. In 2012, he was first nominated for the senior team. He graduated on September 10, 2013 against South Korea his senior international debut for Croatia.
