Darko Jevtić

Darko Jevtić (born 8 February 1993) is a Swiss football player of Serbian descent.

Career

Association

Jevtić began playing football at FC Basel. In 2005 he moved to the juniors of FC Concordia Basel, but returned after only eight months in August 2006 back. After that he played in the U-16 team of FC Basel and was Swiss U-16 champions in 2008 and 2009.

Jevtić also played in the U -18 and U-21 teams. He started the 2011/12 season in the newly formed NextGen Series. The FCB U-19 team met in the group stage of this international tournament at Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan.

Jevtić received in January 2012 to FC Basel his first professional contract. At the end of the 2012/13 season Jevtić was Swiss champion with FC Basel and was in the final of the Swiss Cup, which they lost in a penalty shoot. In the UEFA Europa League 2012/13 he advanced with FC Basel semi-finals and had there against the reigning UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea take. They lost both the home and the away game and eliminated in the total score of 2:5 from.
