Dětkovice (Vyškov District)

Dětkovice ( German Dietkowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Morkovice - Slížany and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

Dětkovice is located in the northern foothills of Litenčické Hills at the transition to the Upper Moravian Valley ( Hornomoravský úval ). The site extends transversely to the valley of the brook Dětkovický creek. To the south rises the Lopata ( 429 m).

Neighboring towns are Dřevnovice, Těšice and Tištín in the north, Kovalovice u Tištína in the northeast, Osíčany, Okluky and Prasklice in the east, Pačlavice the southeast, Zdravá Voda, Lhota, Boří za Zdravou Vodou and Vanovsko in the south, Orlovice and Moravské Málkovice in the southwest and Švábenice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1311 as Vitek of Schwabenitz along with his son Jan the Augustinian monastery on the Zderaz in Prague and a half strokes of the village to a lifelong enjoyment of the matron Lukarda, a protégé of Viteks first woman Anežka leaving. The Lords of Schwabenitz held only a small portion of the village, the vast majority was owned by the Vladiken of Dětkovice. These acquired at the beginning of the 15th century the entire village. In 1466 Ondřej Zástřizl and Dětkovice overwrote the village of his wife Hedwig. In the same year Dětkovice became the seat of William of Zástřizl. Tobias of Obřanské Hory acquired at the end of the 15th century a part of the goods. He sold the 1503 to Nicholas Zendler of court. 1511 acquired Vilém, Výšek and Jan Hynek of Veselice this share, including the court. After all Dětkovice was subservient to the estate Pačlavice. The farm Dětkovice in 1846 expanded to large and part.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dětkovice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Kremsier. In the years 1870 and 1874, the village was ravaged by wildfires. 1885 broke out cholera. At the end of the 19th century, the town was referred to as Dědkovice. 1887 a village school was established in Dětkovice, previously was the teaching of Schwabenitz. 1908, the two-class instruction was received, from 1945 was only informed einklassig in Dětkovice. In 1927, the electrification. In the course of forced collectivization in 1950 JZD Dětkovice arose. In the same year the village was reclassified to Okres Vyškov. In 1976, the annexation to Švábenice. 1990 Dětkovice broke off again and has since formed a peculiar political community. Dětkovice is part of the microregion Ivanovická brána.
