Dhurakij Pundit University
The Thurakit Bandit University ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย ธุรกิจ บัณฑิตย์, RTGS: Mahawitthayalai Thurakit Bandit; British own letters Dhurakij Pundit University, DPU, the Thai thurakit means " business " bandit " academics " ) is a private university in Thailand, established in the district Laksi, Bangkok.
History
The Thurakit Bandit University was founded in 1968 as a private university. Soon after the start of the college education of both the number of students as well as the programs grew rapidly. In 1984 she was one of the four first private university in Thailand that have been promoted to universities. Today it forms with about 22,000 students one of the major private universities in the country.
First President of the University was Dr. Sawit, who stood at the head of the University from 1984 until his death in 1994. Since 2005, the University as part of its International College ( DPUIC ) to international programs in English or Chinese.
